As pathetic as this might be, The Big Bang Theory was 82% of the reason I took Advanced Chemistry last year in school. I learned lots, but the number one thing I learned in the class was that chemistry is not nearly as fun in real life as it is in the show.
That aside, I adore The Big Bang Theory and every character in it, especially Leonard. I stayed at a bed and breakfast last month whose caretaker reminded me so much of him in the way he tilted his head up and scrunched his nose when he spoke. Not to mention his defined jaw and glasses. Pretty much everything Mr. Hofstadter does is wonderful.
